Experience “Waldeinsamkeit”
An unique BnB. We provide hand made glamping tents in a beautiful setting on platforms at the edge of Black Brook Creek nestled deep in our farm.
This is our largest tent with 2 decks - one covered with a pasture view and one overlooking Black Brook Creek. The tent is set back from the creek nestled into the trees for privacy. Relax with a book on the porch rocker on the covered deck enjoying the tranquil pasture view. If you need to get some work done; there is a table in the tent. Enjoy the creek view rocking on the front deck. In the evening, listen to the crackling fire at your private firepit on the bank of Blackbrook Creek. Eat dinner under the stars at your private picnic table near the water. If it rains, enjoy the sounds of rain on the metal roof, keeping you dry. Throw your stuff on the bench and hang your dressy clothes on the hangers and hooks.
Please note, the tent is nestled under a large hickory tree. Nuts do occasionally fall LOUDLY on the roof. If you are a light sleeper we provide ear plugs or please pick another tent. IN the Glamping Area, there is not power or running water. All of those things are in the Gathering Area. Parking is in the parking area above the Gathering Area.
Important: Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG, the digital trust platform that enables hosts, operators and guests to confidently transact in the short-term rentals space. Please note that once you have booked, you will be required to verify yourself with SUPERHOG.
Smoking is Permitted
- There is no smoking inside but the property is 420 friendly. ( We ask for no smoking/vaping in the tents, buildings or on decks. In outside common areas, please be considerate of others. When no one else is around or you're at your private firepit - enjoy. )

Rick, our family, our staff and myself are creating an oasis in the woods where you can unplug and experience Waldeinsamkeit ("solitude of the forest"). Our tent sites are limited and spaced for tranquility. We try to think of everything you might need to relax and unwind from breakfast (we are a BnB) to snacks to a spa like bathhouse to hidden spaces along the paths through the woods. Come experience Waldeinsamkeit.

Enjoy the area. We are located in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State. We are near the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge; historic Seneca Falls; the home of Harriet Tubman in Auburn ; Geneva food scene; Cayuga & Seneca Lakes; the Erie , Barge & Seneca - Cayuga Canals; the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail; the Seneca Lake Wine Trail; Del Lago Casino; the Waterloo Prime Outlets; plus much more! We are a day trip to Ithaca, Watkins Glen, Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo and Niagara Falls.

We are LOCAL beverage and LOCAL LEGAL cannabis friendly. Montezuma Winery and Just Breathe Finger Lakes are 2 miles away.We ask that all guests on property be over 25 years old due to Seneca County Laws surrounding alcohol and cannabis use.No pets - our livestock guardian is exchange for keeping away things that go bump in the night wants all of the pets for himself.Relax, chill, have fun
HOST'S INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
We give our guests space, but we are available when needed.We plan to make your stay memorable. We live on-site and are available as needed. Our staff will be cleaning and stocking the bathhouse daily. As well as, making sure the kitchen has snacks and is set up for breakfast.
CANCELLATION
Guests have the right to a full refund if cancelling within 24 hours of booking. Within 14 days of arrival , Guests receive a 50% refund. After this time, the full cost of the booking will apply.

Don't forget to bring your government issued, photo ID as your host may want to check it.
