3 Day Retreat – Mi’kmaq First Nation on the reservation

Learn about Canada’s Mi'kmaq First Nation and experience life on the reservation
Day 1; arrive and meet with Kenny, your host who will greet you with dinner and a bonfire. Kenny will share information on his tribe’s history, folklore, and sing traditional songs. Stay Overnight in Kenny's waterfront cabin which includes all the cannabis you can consume.
Day 2: Breakfast then off to go hunting; either to the water for fishing or trapping or to the forest to hunt rabbit or deer (depending on the season). Kenny will teach you how to clean and cook, according to his tribe’s traditions. Note; you can be as independent as you like, or stay with Kenny as your guide.
After, you will take the canoes or kayaks to a nearby island and pitch a tent to stay overnight. (Kenny will escort you and pick you up.). Kenny will share stories such as the legend of the Giant Beaver and he will show you the imprints on the rocks of where the legend came from. Cook dinner over an open fire on the island. Fish to catch your dinner, or bring supplies, and cook and hike on the island.
You can enjoy complete privacy and isolation from the world! Run around naked. Scream and shout. It doesn’t matter; no one is there to see or hear you.
Day 3: On your return from the island, settle back in the cabin. Kenny greets you with a dinner and you're free to enjoy the evening as you would like. Next morning is check out.
Boats, Wi-Fi, fishing gear, hunting gear and cannabis are all provided. Kenny is the nicest guy and he’s there if you would like a friend, a teacher, an entertainer, a cook, a guide, or a protector.
Pets welcome.
Alternately you are welcome to park an RV on his land, or pitch tents on his land. Tips in cash encouraged.
