Live in the Hayloft of a century old barn surrounded by nature

This open space home is in the top level of a century old bank barn. When an active barn, this area would have been the hay loft and you will still see an original hay ladder and original hand hewn beams.

There is one main bedroom with a queen bed and two dens with double pull out couches. Final sleeping spots for Max capacity is single couches in a shared living room.

If additional sleeping areas are needed check out the Tinkerbell listing (this is a bedroom attached to this unit). Or our Pool View unit(sleeps 4) or the Farmstay unit(sleeps 3).

Five Star Ranch offers a year-round getaway in a beautiful country setting. Situated on a working farm, and surrounded by gardens, animals and beautiful forest, it is a perfect destination for seclusion and peace.

Hello and thank you for checking out my listing. I was born in Montreal and moved to Ontario when I was 6 months old. We moved to the country when I was 12 and I got my first horse. By 16yrs old I started Five Star Ranch. It started as a trail riding facility, later added lessons and clinics. In 2013 I wrote The Lemonade Stand Millionaire, a book to teach kids about great money habits, entrepreneurship and an abundance mindset. In 2017 I became a widow. It has been the most difficult thing I have ever had to go through. That said, I have made some major shifts and have decided to share my beautiful farm. I love hosting my friends and now will be hosting guests in one of several rooms available. The space here at the farm is magical, with animals like goats, chickens, horses, dogs, cats and more! See the stars, hear the coyotes, have a dip in the pool or hot tub. Work out in the gym, or relax in the sauna, or sit by the pond and read a book. I look forward to welcoming you to Five Star Ranch

Beautiful area with great hiking, biking( bike trails just 5 min car ride from farm) 10 minutes From Campbellville, 20 min from Milton, 20 from Guelph or Cambridge, 1.5 hours to Niagara Falls.30 min from Burlington, 45 min from downtown TorontoDars Delights is just minutes away with fresh pies, sweet treats and lots of homemade delights.The village of Campbellville is has some lovely, unique gift shops and restaurants. It includes a small grocery store and liquor store.

Check in details Hayloft When you arrive you will come in the driveway and stay the just to the right of the island where the driveway divides. (Almost straight ahead) The barn/house will be on your right. Walk up the hill to the front porch. Use the glass doors on the far left of the porch, it will be open for you, one of the benefits of being in the country. When you enter the front foyer remove your shoes and put them to the right. This is a shared space with the main level apartment. Watch the step in the front foyer. Your room will be up the stairs to your right. Enjoy the view at the top of the stairs. Your room key for the door into your space will be on the kitchen counter as well as my phone number as texting is often faster to reach me. Additional rulesFive Star Ranch House Rules1. - If you would like to host an event (i.e. wedding, graduation, party), please speak with us about it first. No events allowed without pre arranging and setting up agreements. If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of the disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.2. Only Registered guests are allowed3. Keep noise to a minimum after 11pm4. PLEASE WASH YOUR DISHES after use. If dishes are not washed, extra cleaning fees may be applied. They should be put back where they came from. Please do not leave in the dishwasher or on the counter.5. Please acknowledge that, we may leave consumables such as condiments or snacks left behind by previous guests if they are not empty. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests' discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables.6. Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help. We keep compostable material in the freezer in compost bags7. Please dispose of the garbage, compost and recycling. Locations provided on check in. 8. No Shoes inside the home please9. No smoking inside the home. Extra cleaning fees to remove odor and stains may be applied. Smoking can be on pool deck, porch and near house. Absolutely no smoking near the barns, animals, we love them and want them safe. We are 420 friendly, just follow the same guidelines and enjoy.10. Damages to property will be billed to the guest and reported to Airbnb11. Turn lights off and heat/air down when away from unit to support our environment and keep costs down for everyone.12. No pets13. Do not use the premises for any illegal activity14. The fee for the lost key will be $25 15. If you break or damage something, please let me know and arrange for its replacement or repair.16. Feel free to use the barbecue outside that is set up for our super guests’ leisure use only. The BBQ is to be used by the guests who stay at the home and is not to invite others to the home as it will be considered as hosting a party. Please clean up after yourselves and keep the grill clean. If found left dirty and requires extra cleaning, an extra cleaning fee may be required. Lastly, because this is an Airbnb community not a hotel, and is also my home when I stay in Vancouver, please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave. HOST'S INTERACTION WITH GUESTS

I give my guests space but am available when neededI am on the farm and happy to help in any way I can.This is a working farm. So there is almost always someone on site. We will leave you to your privacy unless you want to mingle. Pool, hot tub, gym and ballroom area are shared spaces.

CANCELLATION

Guests have the right to a full refund if cancelling within 24 hours of booking. Within 14 days of arrival , Guests receive a 50% refund. After this time, the full cost of the booking will apply.
