en-suite bathroom, private balcony, kitchenette, king-size bed (or two singles) and spectacular sea views.
The Green Deck on the top floor has 360 degree views of the ocean, coastal dunes and rolling hills of the Eastern Cape and offers spectacular sunrise and sunset views, perfect for a wake and bake or a 4:20.
Our rooms are romantic and intimate, our darkness complete and our silence is total. Our wi-fi is free and fast and our dog is adorable. We're pretty nice too.

Chintsa is a tiny village, located in Moonlight Bay in the Amathole district of the Eastern Cape. It is advisable to have your own transport as everything is exactly a 2-minute drive or less away. Our beach is one of the most beautiful in South Africa and stretches for miles. We boast 4 restaurants serving dinner and two restaurants serving breakfast and brunch. We also have a small in-house menu and breakfast can be arranged. There are various activities available in the general vicinity of Purple Haze, for instance, horse riding on the beach, game drives, canoeing, abseiling, massages, surfing, fishing, golf and more.

HOUSE RULES
There aren't really any rules as such. We keep things pretty quiet, especially after 10 pm and aren't suitable for parties.
HOST'S INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
I meet our guests at the gate and show you to your room. It's up to our guests to decide how they would like to interact with us, but we might join them on the Green Deck for a 4:20 smoke. Mojo, our friendly dog, is around but doesn't make a nuisance of herself.
CANCELLATION
Guests have the right to a full refund if cancelling within 24 hours of booking. Within 14 days of arrival , Guests receive a 50% refund. After this time, the full cost of the booking will apply.

I had my very first Hi BnB experience at Purple Haze Lodge. It was one of the best lodging experiences I've ever had. First of all, the hosts were the best I've ever had without question. Seriously. Inch and Loaf were exceptionally welcoming, gracious and generous. The airlines lost my luggage for my entire week stay. However, I didn't lose it because Inch and Loaf basically took care of all of my needs. Including help with transportation, food, washing the one outfit I had and even helping me find some other clothes to wear from one of the local shops. I had a small clean room with all the necessary amenities in a peaceful environment with a stunning view. And the cherry on top was that my hosts shared some great plant medicine to help melt away all my cares. PHL is my new happy peaceful place and I can’t wait to return. My only suggestion is for the hosts to get some new crisp white linen and wash cloths.
